Reading the Quran online — frequently asked questions
Can I read the Quran online for free?
Yes. Every one of the 114 surahs is free to read here — the full Arabic text with a clear English translation and transliteration, plus audio recitation. There is no sign-up, no paywall and no ads getting in the way.
Is there a free Quran app I can install?
Yes. This site is also a free installable app (the Muslim Toolkit). On your phone, tap your browser menu and choose “Add to Home Screen”, or use the install button when it appears. Once installed it opens full-screen like a normal app and the Quran works offline.
Can I read the Quran offline?
