Frequently asked questions

What is a tasbih?

A tasbih (or misbaha) is a string of prayer beads used to count dhikr — the remembrance of Allah, such as saying SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah and Allahu Akbar. This digital tasbih lets you count with a tap on any device.

Does it save my count?

Yes. Your current count, chosen dhikr and daily total are saved in your browser, so they’re still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to any server — it’s completely private.

What are the common dhikr counts?

After each obligatory prayer it is a Sunnah to say SubhanAllah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times and Allahu Akbar 34 times (totalling 100). You can pick these presets or set any custom target.

Will it work on my phone?

Yes — it works in any modern browser on phone, tablet or computer, and gives a gentle vibration on supported phones each time you count. You can also add this site to your home screen to use it like an app.
